December 06, 2013 | UhuruSpirit
SPLM-N Chairman Malik Agar Eyre
Message from the Sudan People's Liberation Movement - North (SPLM-N) on the passing of Mandela
Comrade Jacob Zumma
President of Republic of South Africa
Comrade President
On behalf of myself and the entire Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM-N) and Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF), allow me to express my condolences to you, the people of the African continent, South Africa, and the family of the great African leader - Nelson Mandela.
Mandela was a great African visionary leader. He inspired us all to follow his path to freedom. Though he departed our world, we are consoled that he once said, "when I go to the other side of the world I will join the ANC branch there." This means that, dead or alive, he continues to be a freedom fighter.
He departed but left a legacy that would continue to illuminate any path to freedom and democracy. He taught us that there is a lot to gain through forgiveness and reconciliation. He also taught us that hatred is an untreatable disease.
May his great soul rest in peace as he left us peace.
Mandela Oyee!
