Oduamadi late strike denies Kenya victory over Nigeria

The African champions Nigeria needed a dramatic equaliser to draw 1-1 with Kenya in their 2014 Group F World Cup qualifier in Calabar.

Substitute Nnamdi Oduamadi scored three minutes into stoppage time to cancel out Francis Kahata's first half free-kick for Kenya.

It was the second draw in three games in World Cup qualifying for the Super Eagles who have five points.

They are level with Malawi who beat Namibia 1-nil in Windhoek.

Namibia have three points from three matches and Kenya are bottom on two points.

The match was Nigeria's first since their success at the Africa Cup of Nations.

In other results on Saturday, two goals from Samuel Eto'o - one from the penalty spot - helped Cameroon beat Togo 2-1 in Group I in Yaounde. Dove Wome scored for Togo. Cameroon now top that group with six points from three games. Togo remain bottom on one point.

QPR defender Christopher Samba scored for Congo Brazzaville in their 1-nil victory over Gabon in Pointe Noire. Congo are top of Group E with three wins out of three.
